Here's a bunch of 2006 albums, vote your favorite and feel free to list favorite/s if not in poll. 2006 was a 'meh' year in metal for my tastes. I like the Blind Guardian, thought it's far from their best. The Mastodon is pretty cool, better than Crack The Skye, imo. I'll have to say: Circle II Circle - Burden Of Truth It's my favorite CIIC album by far, and I still listen to it regularly

Based on the rating it has on the site I wouldn't say that's controversial. Monotheist is probably my favorite Celtic Frost album as well, although I think To Mega Therion is a masterpiece as well. ------------- If I say fuck two more times that's forty-six fucks in this fucked up rhyme |

On the list I'll go for Lamb Of God with honourable mentions for Tool, Vicious Rumors, Celtic Frost, Katatonia and Mastodon. Not on the list we had great albums from Decapitated, Enslaved, Gojira, Persefone and The Sword that year.

Missing the album that I consider to be the best heavy/power metal album of the past decade. My favorite album from one of my favorite bands, Wolf's Black Flame. Should note that the same goes for 2004 and Evil Star. ------------- 42 |
