Vote your favorite, and feel free to list your favorite/s if not in the poll.

Many great albums here, but I'm heading towards voting for the Devin Townsend album.

I'm not sure if you can, I am able to temporarily make it so multiple votes are allowed but then Ghost Opera will still have a vote even if no one wanted to vote for it. LOL

Hmm, this is a hard one to choose. Some great albums that year.

Other ones not mentioned:

Symphony X - Paradise Lost
Nightwish - Dark Passion Play
Within Temptation - The Heart Of Everything
Amorphis - Silent Waters
Dark Tranquillity - Fiction
Darkwater - Calling The Earth To Witness
Redemption - The Origin Of Ruin
Sonata Arctica - Unia

You could maybe keep that vote cast for Kamelot as mine, I love that album, and depending what mood I'm in it may be my favorite Kamelot. Either that or Epica. I disliked Ghost Opera when it first came out, there was something odd about how they recorded it/how it sounded. I now think it's a fantastic selection of songs, Blucher being the only song I still don't care for much.

I voted for Epica out of these. I have a few that would top it though:

Anubis Gate - Andromeda Unchained
Rebellion - Miklagard: The History of the Vikings, Volume II
Spheric Universe Experience - Anima
Seven Kingdoms - Brothers of the Night

And a few others that deserve a mention:

Helloween - Gambling With the Devil
Nightmare - Genetic Disorder
Vainglory - Vainglory
Wolfchant - A Pagan Storm
Аркона - От сердца к небу

Voted Ziltoid, although the Static-X, Sevendust, Porcupine Tree, Rush, Megadeth, Korn, Anvil, Samael, and Machine Head are all among my favorites as well.

I clicked Porcupine Tree and then realised I'd missed Rush who should have had my vote. Good albums from Machine Head, Arch Enemy and Epica. I found that Nile album a bit of a disappointment.

Not on the list...

Symphony X - Paradise Lost
Exodus - The Atrocity Exhibition
Down - Over The Under

I forgot about Redemption - The Origin Of Ruin; such a great band, they've never released anything weak.
