Alice again, although it was close with Black Sabbath. I had the original vinyl version of Billion Dollar Babies, but had no record player at the time, so I gave it to my little brother. Heat + Alice = Cry I can't bear to part with the sleeve from it, which I still have.

I love the Eloy and Budgie albums, but just had to go with The Serpent is Rising. Amazing album that deserves more attention.

This is tough.
My vote goes to Blue Oyster Cult.

Then Uriah Heep and Sabbath.

Budgie, probably made more famous by Metallica's cover of "Breadfan" and use at their gigs much later.

I'll go for Budgie followed by Zeppelin and Sabbath.

Not on the list we had excellent albums that year from Genesis, Yes, Museo Rosenbach, Le Orme, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa and the 1st Montrose album.

I don't seem to have heard a single album from 1973. Embarrassed
