I hope this little tournament might get some more interest going around the Grind sub here on MMA, the catch here with this tournament is that none of these bands are currently on MMA, i'm going to be adding the bands in tandem with the voting, so they should all be here by the time we get to the 'sweet sixteen'. Each poll is going to be open for ONLY THREE DAYS after which the winner will advance. I will also be having two polls going at once in the name of expediency. In the event of a tie I'll leave the poll open a day longer, after that, I'll do a coin toss. Hopefully this idea is something you guys will find to be interesting, maybe get introduced to some awesome bands, or maybe have more appreciation for this genre (or not). However if gets to be that there is only 2 or 3 votes for each round I'm not going to keep this whole tournament thing up, and I'll just return to adding bands like normal.

I think I've chosen a pretty good spread of styles within the realm of Grindcore, and I've chosen groups from nearly every era, from early 90's, to recent up and coming bands. Ideally I would like it if none of you had ever heard of any of these groups but I highly doubt that will happen, some of these bands are fairly well known, even to fans outside of Grind, and are pretty big omissions here on our Grindcore page.

So, simply listen to each song and vote for the one you like. Also NSFW warning, album artwork for a couple of these groups isn't pretty, and I've got the most ening in this round...
