It seems weve been close to losing another great Metal personality this year as King Diamond appantly have suffered a severe heart attack and has undergone surgery that fortunately saved his life.

Holy shit! I hope he recovers quickly. I totally understand why he wants to take it easy for a while.

God bedring, King Diamond!

Triple bypass surgery is a fairly routine procedure these days.  My dad had one 3 years ago, and the only thing he could complain about was that they didn't properly trim/remove these clips inside his chest, so they were poking him for weeks after the surgery.  I assume he got that problem fixed or he's just used to it by now. LOL

^ My grandfather had a triple bypass about 16 years back, and he's been doing great ever since (which has been my entire life). If I hadn't been told about it, I wouldn't even know that he went through such a major surgery.

Hopefully it'll be the same for the King. Headbanger

He's my biggest musical idol. I actually spoke to some of the members and they told me it could have gone either way. I'm really glad he's much better now. He's also quit smoking, which should not only help his health but his voice too  :).
