I suggest adding Abraham band to S/PM . They're a post hardcore quintet based in Switzerland formed around members of metal acts KRUGER and NABOKOFF.
Debut album '' An eye on the universe'' will be released in january 2011.

I don't know anything about the band and I don't mean to discourage anyone but post-hardcore isn't a metal subgenre. It's based off of hardcore elements with other alternative stuff thrown in.

Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

We have post-hardcore acts here like Converge, Burst and The Ocean, so if Abraham is in that vein I dont see a reason why they shouldnt be added. Depending on what elements of their sound are dominant, post-hardcore acts go to either metalcore or sludge/ post-metal. Its always debatable if an act is more hardcore than it is metal, but thats the teams decision.

In my opinion most Post-hardcore acts include lots of metal elements and should be included here. The line is fluent and hard to define though. The line is drawn with hardcore punk though ( with a few exceptions).

Well they have contract with PelAgic Records same as The Ocean and God is an Astronaut. I'm not familiar with post-harcore genre, but I think that they have enough elements of post-metal and alternative metal.
If Cult of luna is here then Abraham should be here as well.

Listening to some now, sounds like a fit for sludge/post-metal.

Not sure if the sludge/post team evaluated them yet, but we will now. Smile
