Here's a wild question. How can bands like Sunn O))) or Earth be called metal at all while bands like Van Halen are merely hard rock? Sounds utterly illogical -------------

Ain't that the truth. To be honest i don't consider drone metal to be a form of metal. I consider it to be a metal related category that is based in dark ambient that just happens to utilize some distortion and vocal techniques. Yadda yadda -------------
