ABAKATH is a comedy band from Ibirité, state of Minas Gerais, Brasil. They play something that can be considered "acoustic black metal", with humorous lyrics about warriors, barbecues, and neighbours playing bad music all night. The name derives from the word "abacate", which is "avocado" in portuguese.

The band have two official releases and even opened for bands like MASSACRATION.
