And yeah, I kinda have a bias for their epic length tracks

Definitely one of the hardest bands to choose a top 10 from.  I would also definitely have The Clairvoyant and Aces High in my list.  I would add Where Eagles Dare and Infinite Dreams too but the remaining 6 would be a massive challenge.

I know what you mean. It's also an extra difficult one for me due to Into the Electric Castle being my favourite album. I could so easily have 10 just from that. 

I was going to do Ayreon next myself actually. We have some of the same picks and there are some close contenders I've had to leave off.

Perhaps unsurprisingly there's nothing from Transitus in here. That's even more of a whole package Ayreon album. 

A funny thing to note with Ayreon and me is that I often favour the softer tracks as the most individually memorable. Or the epics at the other end of the scale. 

Since I'm posting again, I'll do Hammerfall. They're easy, because I find they're more a "Greatest Hits" type of band, where every album has a few huge standouts, and the rest is generally solid, but unspectacular.
