I don't think it's a bug, but I seem to have missed the thread on what the lines in the star ratings are for. Can anyone fill me in? Thanks

You aren't referring to half-star ratings, are you?

Maybe it's just showing up for me, but it appears on my screen that the yellow star ratings have lines between some of the stars. I can post a screenshot if necessary, but I suppose it might just be something weird for me.

Probably a browser issue. Which browser do you use?

Firefox. I think it's just a viewing issue.

I use Firefox as well, but I haven't ever had that issue. Maybe a screenshot would be helpful here?

This isn't really a huge issue at all, I think it could be a harmless bug. Anyway I'm using Mac OSX 10.6.7 to view with Firefox 4.0.1
The lines don't always end up between the 2nd and 3rd star, they seem to have no set pattern from page to page.
EDIT: Upon lookin at it more there are some "underlines" that are there too that are probably the same thing. My guess is the grey or orange fill is filling in space between the star images or something.

That's quite an alarming screenshot. Someone gave Rust In Peace a 1/2 star rating!!

I'd say that's by far more alarming than whatever these lines are here for

Okay, I understand disliking something, but 0.5 stars would mean that something has no musical merit whatsoever. perhaps somebody should explain the rating system to this gentleman.
