Reviews of the new CD start to appear:
GOOD GUYS GO GRIND Webzine:
The Finnish scene is vibrant with great bands! Yeah, I could mention Rotten
Sound or Feastem, but you all know these guys. Here is Kouristus – a solid mans
from Tampere. Last summer they released a brand new album, and I think many of
you missed this frantic work. This bloody old-school artwork was made by
Khaaosink, it turns fucking good. This drawing 100% matches the music…
Kouristus ‘s sonic assault comes wrapped in a nice production that smashes the
listener with its speed and skull-crushing riffs. “Mielen Ja Maailman Rappio”
is a great sound torture, where each track is precision-packed with an
old-school charge of energy! This album is damn good, guys gave all that they
had, haha! Every blastbeat and d-beat is an artillery strike, every scream a
declaration of war against silence itself. A strong bass line is especially
good, but that’s not all. You will feel how much these boys are dedicated to
crustpunk scene… And that makes this music shine brighter. It’s the kind of
album that leaves you grinning through freshly loosened teeth, and play repeat
button, haha! Strongly recomended!
Remember guys, in such shitty times, we need to keep the underground music
scene strong and alive, dont forget to support the bands, labels, fest, and
artists!

METAL INSIDE Webzine:
Finnen? Spinnen?
Heiser-hektisches Geschrei trifft schrammelig-schnelle Gitarren, dazu
trocken-sparsames Drumming – all das ergibt eine schlecht gelaunte, aggressive
Muschpoke, die trotz aller Negativität irgendwie gute Laune macht. Paradox,

VOICES FROM THE DARKSIDE Webzine:
KOURISTUS, the Finnish Grindcore band with 10 years under their belt, delivers
a raw and relentless assault with their full-length album, “Mielen Ja Maailman
Rappio”. This 19-minute sonic explosion is a chaotic blend of Grindcore and old
school Hardcore, showcasing the band’s dedication to unfiltered aggression.
This album features 15 tracks packed into just under 20 minutes. From the
inviting head swaying intro into the rest numbers it is a relentless sonic
assault, where this Finnish four-piece holds nothing back and delivered a raw
and chaotic blend of sound. Forget polished production, this album is all about
capturing the band’s raw energy. The drums pound relentlessly, the guitars are
sharp and the vocals are a guttural outpouring of rage and pain. Surprisingly,
the bass cuts through the chaos, adding an unexpected layer of depth. While the
album is a full-frontal Grindcore assault, there are enticing mixtures of D-beat
and Crust Punk that make it even more intense. Tracks like ‘Karma Kostaa’,
‘Loppu Tulee’, ‘Kansanmurha’, ‘Yksin Kotona Sekaisin’, ‘Kannan Arkkua’ and
‘Irtiottoja’ showcasing the band’s ability to craft memorable moments within
the maelstrom. The striking artwork by Khaaosink complements the music
perfectly, reflecting the band’s philosophy. With all that, “Mielen Ja Maailman
Rappio” is an exhilarating ride through old school energy and uncompromising
intensity that will further strengthen their already strong discography. It’s a
release that fans of Grindcore, Punk and Metal will appreciate and poised to
spread the name of KOURISTUS further in this genre. To find out more about this
