The Grand Astoria - Omnipresence (2011)


The Grand Astoria are a Stoner Rock/Metal band from Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

They incorporate elements of Thrash Metal, Funk, Soul, Psychedelic, Progressive, Punk and other types of music into their Stoner foundation for a diverse and interesting sound.

The band follow a punk inspired DIY ethic, which comes across in their touring, recording and distribution arrangements, with much of their work given away free online.

I'll give it a shot and see what I think.  The description sounds like it could be a form of metal that I like.  I think I might actually have a song or two from these guys from some free download compilations.

Their new EP/single is also really good... a lot heavier.
First album is probably my favourite, but I don't see any legal downloads for it in the same way.
