2011 was quite a productive year for death metal. Which ones did you like the most? Due to the large number of entries, I've allowed multiple votes.

I'm ashamed to admit that I've only heard about half of these, but out of the ones I have, the new Insomnium album is by far my favorite. Paradogma is pretty great, too.

Omnivium for me, but I really got into death metal a lot more this year, some others that I really enjoyed would be:

MaYaN - Quarterpast

Septic Flesh - The Great Mass

Sectu - Inundate

Beyond Creation - The Aura

Abysmal Dawn - Leveling the Plane of Existence

Fleshgod Apocalypse - Agony

Unbreakable Hatred - Total Chaos

I haven�t heard every single one of the albums, but out of those I have heard I�ve enjoyed the albums by Ulcerate and Origin the most.

Here are a couple of other death metal releases I�ve enjoyed greatly this year:

Ulcerate for me. Autopsy, Meat Devourer, Milking The Goatmachine come close.
