Drum machines.  Who do you think did theirs best?  I've only included bands that have used a machine for the majority or entirety of their studio library (so no, Meshuggah does not count for Catch 33).

I'm going with Anaal Nathrakh, because theirs sounded really intense since the beginning of their career and especially recently when they really made it sound rather organic.

I'm not entirely sure what they do with drums in the studio.  I know Xytras mostly does keys live with programmed drums, but look here.



He's both seen playing the drums and sitting aside while he jams on the keys.

Would be strange if I told you guys that Eldrig would actually be in like my top 5 most favourite drummers of all time, even though there is a good chance that he never even picked up a pair of drum-sticks in his life?

The drums do sound really wicked when they fade in here at the 6:51 mark.
