Ok guys, I marked around 600 albums for reviewing so I'll be all over the home page in the coming weeks Smile
Half of those reviews have been posted on PA already, but I hope to add some new "REAL METAL!" ones as soon as possible.

My favourite bands that are not on PA are : Judas Priest, Candlemass, Megadeth, Coroner, Testament, Slayer, Celtic Frost, Solitude Aeturnus, Katatonia, Paradise Lost, Amorphis, Nevermore, Skyclad, Dissection, Entombed,...

I hope to find some interesting bands from the 00's here, as that has been a very disappointing metal decade in my opinion so please change my mind about that!

Cheers,
Karl

Wow Karl the 00s have been disappointing???. Ill make it my mission to convince you that metal is still kickin and aliveBig smile. Oh well I might agree with you a bit come to think about it, but maybe were just too old ( sorry mateSmile) to understand all the new core genres that the kids listen to today? ( I absolutely hate deathcore and most metalcore that Ive been introduced toAngry with only a very few exceptions)

^ That's more or less what I meant indeed.
Of course I have many great albums from the 00's, some of my favourites even when looking at Opeth, Katatonia, MDB, Enslaved, Nevermore, etc.

But all of those are 90's bands! So where's the new original talent that will produce the great stuff in the current decade?!

Everything you mentioned from Judas Priest to Solitude Aeturnus is amazing. The rest I don't know too well. So hello, you have really good taste! I do a lot of polls here and it would be much appreciated if you made a wee contribution 'cause they might be to your liking. Big smile
Rock on mate. Rawks< ' TALLICAAAAAAAAHHH!!!'

well, I think that todays progressive metal isn't bad (Riverside, Ayreon, Pain of Salvation...).

Yes, true. With some reservations about Ayreon which I got a bit tired of.

But I meant Metal Metal, not that progressive fluff Evil Smile
