I figure I'd start this thread to start discussions related to all things funny.  Want to discuss a really funny tv show or movie?  See something funny on the internet?  Have a joke you wish to share with the class?  Then here's the place to do it.

Let me get the ball rolling...

I've been watching a ton of The Kids In The Hall lately, and living in Canada and being constantly exposed to Canadian comedy, I say with no hesitation that their work is the best in sketch related comedy from the Great White North, at least produced in my lifetime.  Easily up there among Canada's funniest TV shows (along with Trailer Park Boys).

Here's a sketch of theirs I saw a few days ago that got me laughing pretty good:

No offense Colt, but that shit is way too old news to be still funny

I still chortled though.

Gotta love this scene from The Fast Show, a show that for me is even better than Python:

Good stuff, guys.

Sticking with British stuff, I recently was reading a Rowan Atkinson biography and was reminded of this sketch from Not The Nine O Clock News, which oddly enough, the book failed to mention:

^ I also like The Big Bang Theory.

Some of my favourite's include Laurel and Hardy, Dad's Army, Blackadder and Fawlty Towers. On a more recent note The IT Crowd is pretty funny.

I hate comedy and humor. Laughing is a sign of weakness. All humorous people should be shot because they do not deserve to live - they're too weak!

Just kidding :-P

I stumbled across some clips on Youtube of the sports comedy shows Cheap Seats, hosted by the Sklar Brothers.  Here is the first part of their analysis of the 1997 Spelling Bee.  Funny stuff.
