The longest full lenght of all time probbably will be the next release of the doom band Sabazius - a 11 hour song! See:  http://www.facebook.com/Sabazius/posts/10151362535231464" rel="nofollow - http://www.facebook.com/Sabazius/posts/10151362535231464

who in the world has time to listen to an 11 hour song/album and that would be hard as hell to wright because it would be hard to wright music that needs to keep a listener interested for 11 hours

The longest 'album' I have is actually a single, The Flaming Lips "7 Skies H3', a 24 hour long song. It's not actually too bad.

But, apart all these insane projects, there are some double studio album are very long. See the albums of Ayreon, for example:  http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/ayreon.aspx" rel="nofollow - http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/ayreon.aspx
