both are pivotal bands in the metal world, and deserves respect, i tend to lean towards Tool overall, but NIN is also quite good, and are good live. -------------

| Speaking of NIN, their new single "Came Back Haunted" is pretty bland and boring IMO. I expect Tool's new album (which will hopefully be released this year or next) will be a lot more interesting. |
