It seems as though many bands put all their creativity into their music and lyrics and thus have nothing left when it comes to naming their albums. At any rate, I have chosen a number of self-titled albums, which in most cases also happen to be the band's debut albums. Which of these are your favorites? Please discuss. Of course, I would be remiss if I did not include an "Other" option, since there are so many categories of metal that I am not familiar with and as always there are metal bands that I will forget to include so feel free to vote for others that aren't on the list.-------------

Went for Animals as Leaders, which still is an incredibly inspiring album to me. Also good: Wintersun Iron Maiden Mr. Bungle And Between the Buried and Me (but that's not too much of a metal release) ------------- Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want. |

I'm with J. The first Mr Bungle album changed my whole mindset about music but of the ones listed above i would certainly choose Iron Maiden as that album is a very close second -------------
