I don't do soft drinks. Just milk and water pretty much.

Only in taste, not in name. It's really not quite that drastic though. Only about 40% percent of people don't distinguish what they want when they ask for a "coke".

It's true. Mainly when you go to restaurants, though. Whenever someone says they want a coke, normally that means any sort of dark carbonated liquid.

We just call it 'fizzy juice' here. Although I tend to refer to it as a 'mixer' as it's the only thing I use it for!

Given that my native language is not English, I had to choose "other".

That's really dependent on where you live. Even in America there are a ton of different names for it. I know it as soda, and find it silly to call it anything else, but I know people from Chicago and that area who call it pop.

Weird how I rarely hear milk referred to as a soft drink. I guess that's big boy stuff.

Soft drink is a very general term that usually incorporates drinks such as lemonade, iced tea, and such. |

Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

yeah I found that odd. Wonder why it is. And yes, it's called soda because it is soda! I'm a proper northeasterner. |
