The man/ the system/ the machine... whatever name you call these constructs by.
Short hair (only those who choose the path remember!).
Emo and Nu-Metal (in some more extreme cases even Metalcore and Industrial).
MTV and Kerrang!
Posers.
Parental advisory stickers.
Muted youtube music videos.
Disney for violating all the music of the earth.
'Metal' based shops selling ranges of designer items to rockers who generally defy branding and homogeny of image.
Complete silence.
