Ah, Metallica and Pantera. Probably two of metal most household names. Musically they have little in common, except that they have minimal truly great releases but otherwise produced a load decidedly average to total crap albums.
Voted Metallica because they have more good ones. Pantera peeked with Cowboys after a shaky start that lasted for all of their earlier output. Vulgar Display is decent though. |

Load is an album that I've always known and enjoyed, and it's stayed very close to me for awhile. And seeing as I haven't listened to much Pantera I'd have to pick the former.

As far as favorite goes, I'll have to say Pantera. Love both bands though.

on the strength of the first 3 albums Metallica, especially Masters........ Pantera were also great but some of their later albums are a bit patchy with brilliant moments.
