Me three!!! Odds on early favorite for my 2018 album of the year without having heard a single note. :) I love me some Priest!

Oh hell yeah, this year is already looking great for classic metal. New Priest, Saxon, Loudness, and I believe there's a new Doro album on the way as well.

A new Iron Maiden would really complete this list but I think the chances of that are slim to none since they've tour plans going into 2019. I'm looking forward to the new Judas Priest too of course. The cover art looks really quite old school to me, like it could have been released close to albums like Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith. |

Listened to a song from this on Bandcamp earlier. Seems much more death metal infused that the first album.

It's Kamelot so I should be excited but reports of them adding industrial elements has me worried as fuck about this one.

Yeah, between that and Haven being a slight disappointment, I'm feeling pretty nervous about that one. The cover looks pretty ugly as well, tbh, and the name is pretty generic.

I like a bit of Rammstein as much as anyone but Kamelot + industrial? I'm picturing power/symphonic/prog's (whichever they otherwise base this one in, if any) answer to Illud Divinum Insanus.

^I'm very interested to hear what that will even sound like. There's so many ways it could possibly go wrong, lol!

I read some surprising news yesterday. Ray Alder has left Redemption. But Redemption have already found a replacement. And they are working on a new album. With vocalist... (drum roll) - Tom Englund (of Evergrey fame).
