Excellent. Not until June unfortunately but it'll soon come around the way the weeks are flying by.

Plenty of time for me to dust off the Helloween collection.

Unless they have permisson, I smell a Marvel lawsuit, because that's totally an Iron Man knock off.

I see it has longer songs again (including a 20 minute epic), so hopefully I like it better than Distance Over Time, which I thought was good but really generic, safe and uninspired compared to anything else they've done in a long time.

Gone are the days when I would automatically buy a Dream Theater album without hearing it first. Distance Over Time for me was their best in some time and I did buy that one but The Astonishing really left me cold.

Distance Over Time was the first one I bought since A Dramatic Turn of Events. And I only picked that up in July last year. I've high hopes for this new one but it won't be a pre-order.

^ Certainly looking forward to checking it out and if as good as the last one I'll buy it.

October 29th. Running Wild's glory days seem long behind them, but the last album was surprisingly solid, so I hope this is at least as good. Cover art's a bit boring though.

^Excellent, and exactly what I was hoping to hear.
Now this is the DT I thought was largely missing on the last album: Much more epic, and lots more instrumental chaos going on, just how I love DT!

I guess Cradle of Filth will come up with another solid album, judging from the single that I put below.
I think their stuff before the new millennium is unmatched, as it was the delightfully dark '90s. The atmosphere was different then. Yet, Existence is Futile is most likely gonna be one of their best post-Cruelty and the Beast albums; together with Midian, Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder, and Cryptoriana: The Seductiveness of Decay. Nope, it's the second track. The album opener is an 8 and a half minute title track.
