Been listening to this a lot lately. I havent seen any mention of there being a new album coming but if this song is any indication then I am so incredibly here for it! If you told me this was an unreleased song off of The Ride Majestic album then I would believe it. |

Can't say the cover does much for me as it looks like obvious AI shite, but hyped for this one. The self-titled was their best in years.

I only ever cared for Darkness Descends, so I can´t say this excites me too much, as those days are well behind them, but who knows. Maybe they´ve whipped up something I enjoy mere with this new one. I prefer Hoglan in almost every other project he has been active in other than Dark Angel.

I´ve only sporadically listened to anything after Keepers part II, but I plan to listen to and review their full discography at some point...right now I´m at Walls at Jericho, so it´ll probably take me many years before I get to this album. At that point this one probably won´t be their latest anymore.

I'm quite excited for that one. I'm slowly re-listening to their albums before it comes out, starting with a couple of their newer ones I've always been mixed on (Straight Out of Hell and My God Given Right.) They still aren't the greatest, but they both went a bit better after not listening to them for ages, lol I also listened to The Dark Ride a little while back, and it was still one of my all time favorites.

The first three are certainly the classic era but they've made some damn good albums with Andi on vocals. Gambling With The Devil is actually probably my favourite Helloween album.

Yeah, the Andi Deries albums are generally very solid, with no real duds, and a few particular standouts, such as The Dark Ride and Gambling With the Devil. Keeper of the Seven Keys II will always be my favorite Helloween album, but they're generally a consistent band, and their self-titled in particular was one of my favorites, even if a good part of that is because Kiske and hansen returned, lol
