It seems as though many bands put all their creativity into their music and lyrics and thus have nothing left when it comes to naming their albums. At any rate, I have chosen a number of self-titled albums, which in most cases also happen to be the band's debut albums. Which of these are your favorites? Please discuss. Of course, I would be remiss if I did not include an "Other" option, since there are so many categories of metal that I am not familiar with and as always there are metal bands that I will forget to include so feel free to vote for others that aren't on the list. |

Went for Animals as Leaders, which still is an incredibly inspiring album to me.
Also good: Wintersun Iron Maiden Mr. Bungle And Between the Buried and Me (but that's not too much of a metal release) |

Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

I'm with J. The first Mr Bungle album changed my whole mindset about music but of the ones listed above i would certainly choose Iron Maiden as that album is a very close second
