In response to that Dr. Dre CD you've posted, I still need to check out some of his solo stuff. I really like his work with NWA, but I've never investigated his solo material.

No problem man! I love the variety, especially since it gives me albums to check out in genres I'm not well versed in. You may know me as KOSubZeroKO. Smile

As for Dr. Dre's solo stuff, 2001 is good but not quite as great as The Chronic. The production/beats is one of the highlights for sure. I need to get more hip hop in my collection, considering I'm quite a fan!

Okay, I remember that I've corresponded with you via YT then. I'm always happy to expose people to new styles of music! Big smile

If I may make a hip hop suggestion, Capital Punishment by Big Pun is one of my favorite albums in the genre. It never seems to get as much attention as other classic releases, but I find it totally essential - it's such a shame that Big Pun died at such a young age. He weighed roughly 600 pounds and (unsurprisingly) had a heart attack and passed after releasing only this one incredible album. Unhappy

^ I know and love Big Pun. Twinz (Deep Cover 98) is a great song and it just so happens, it's produced by Dre!

Also, I picked up all of this stuff not too long ago:

I went to the Princeton Record Exchange last weekend and got a lot of $1 vinyl finds. You have to nearly break your back looking through boxes on the floor, but it was worth it! Big smile

And this last record is something I got a while back, but never got around to posting it...

An epic 12 inch single from Pendragon! Big smile

I also made a video talking about some of the records in case anybody's interested:

I was helping my uncle clean out his basement and came across some of his vinyl. I offered to take some since he was planning on tossing them.

While some of the sleeves have seen better days, the records are in great shape and sound pretty good! I got it all for the price of $0 so I'm not complaining.

Al Stewart - Year of the Cat
Bad Company - Straight Shooter
Cat Stevens - Tea for the Tillerman
Jethro Tull - Aqualung

The Moody Blues - Octave (on blue vinyl)
Neil Young - After the Gold Rush

Aqualung! Big smile I also enjoy that Al Stewart record quite a bit (though it's been a while since I've heard it) - awesome to find all that stuff for free!

My brother has quite a few Gold Key comics.  Not sure if he has any Turok, but has some Star Trek and Twilight Zone among other things.
