Exactly, but then OMG where are they? That was Lars' doing (of course) plus the producer. They decided to take the 90 to mid 2000's general opinion that solos are lame and old school... And even though I like St Anger the lyrics are some of the worst shit ever, and when you get me to care you know they're bad! I generally don't buy or rate bad music. If an album I buy turns out to be bad, it gets shelved and unless it is offensively bad I couldn't care less.

Resurrection Macabre isn't an album I've heard , so no comment. Prog? Not really, though it is graced by Jeroen Paul Thesseling's fretless bass, but that's the only standout thing about it.
