I got that one recently too... It's pretty good. I'm not a Radiohead fan by any extent of the imagination, but I actually like Pablo Honey more than their more acclaimed releases.

Yes, there are a lot of good artists in the genre : Donny Hathaway, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Shuggie Otis, Booker T & the MG's, The Meters, Curtis Mayfield, The Sweet Vandals, Joe Battaan, Randy Crawford, Stevie Wonder, Isaac Hayes, Roy Ayers, Bettye Swann...

I enjoyed this one a lot.  I've got quite a few of his records from the 60s.  All top notch comedy.  He's an excellent storyteller. Smile

My dad has most of his comedy records on vinyl, and your purchase sparked an interest. I went through the records and listened to 4 of the records the other day. He is indeed a fantastic storyteller. Smile

ClapClapClapClapClap
I'm a huge EW&F follower...since about '75ish...then when All n All came out that solidified my love for them. Maurice White I think is just an amazing mind and producer...The spinoffs from this era and band are pretty good, Al McKay's LA All Stars is a good one to check out, many former members of EW&F.
They were the only ones that I know of that could meld carribean, african, soul, jazz, blues into the funky EW&F sound. Check out "Alive in '75" if you want to hear one of their best live perfomances...

US Festival '83 "Heavy Metal Sunday" Survivor....
