I've been extremely heavily hooked into this band recently, so here's the obvious poll
 As much as I like for example Long Live Rock 'n' Roll and the seemingly very low rated Turner era material, Rainbow Rising stands head and shoulders above the rest. The rest of almost all heavy metal albums I've ever heard. Almost all of the songs are little masterpieces of their own, and very few pieces of rock music capture epicness like Stargazer. I must admit that I've yet to hear Down to Earth, since the two songs I'm familiar with haven't really made any kind of impression on me.

"Rising" is THE classic Rainbow album IMO. Excellent release that one.

I only have the Dio ones. Of those, Rising is probably the best.

The title track, Lady Of The Lake, L.A. Connection, Sensitive To Light, The Gates Of Babylon...ahh, pure bliss!
