Ah, German power metal! Few others can match its perfection(I'd like to think us Americans come pretty close thoughWink)..and w/ that said I want to know what YOU guys think who the best in the business are! For my money's worth I'm gonna go w/ one of the more obscure contenders in Mystic Prophecy! I just love their dark and gritty style so much!

An obvious choice but I'll vote for Helloween. I hadn't even heard Angel Dust until last year but think they're pretty awesome too.

I know most by name, but I´ve listened to surprisingly few of the band´s, so I´ll abstain from voting, as my Helloween vote would be a bit too obvious.

They're pretty great, but ironically a bit too consistent as well. They may never make a bad album, but they never surprise either. At least that's my impression of them.

Scorpions is less heavy than the bands on the list I guess, that's why. 

Accept and Warlock should have been there, more than Scorpions IMO.

Powerwolf is the only band on that list who I listen to daily--though there are a lot of other great bands on your list, such as Helloween and Avantasia!
