One of the greatest group from UK has never the oportunity to realeased a record, untill late 90's . Some belive the name of the band isn't "AXE" but "AXE MUSIC".
There was a band, featuring guitarist Mark Griffiths (Harsh Reality, Matthews Southern Comfort) called Axe operating Northampton around this time, who made an acetate-only album. However, it is unclear whether this is them or another band with the same name.
Kissing Spell realised the lp Middle Earth & Axe, supposed the same group (from 1974 demo).
Some further complications courtesy of Galactic Ramble.The band were also known as Crystalline and the acetate has never been released in it's virgin form as effects etc have been added.Rumour has it that the live track 'Here To There' is not by the band at
