Jannick Top (sometimes spelled Janik Top) is a french bassist, most well-known as former bassist for Magma. He was a large contributor to the now typical bass sound in the Zeuhl genre, popularizing - among other things - the "cello tuning." He is also the owner of Utopic Records.
Top's most recent album, Infernal Machina, mixes elements of Zeuhl with heavy metal.
