Mountains Among Us is an atmospheric sludge metal / blackened doom-gaze metal band from Charlotte in North Carolina, formed in early 2008.
Mountains Among Us features members of From Oceans To Autumn. The band's first album “True North” was released in late 2008 followed by “Believer” in 2009. In late 2011 the band released an EP, “Away With Words” that showcased a more atmospheric/blues sound incorporated in the mix. A second EP, More To This, was released in December 2011 with Rebirth released a year later.
