The K2 Project is an instrumental progressive metal band. The band features two members, Kevin Lahey and Kevin Coppola, hence, The K2 Project. The project began as just one song intended to be released for the two musician's other band, Mersa. Due to a clash of styles, the song was released through a separate name. This was then expanded upon with more and more songs being released. Before they knew it, The K2 Project had more than a full albums worth of material recorded and released. At this point, the project decided to remaster all of the old material and have a professional release to all possible mediums. The K2 Project is now continuing to write with the intention of releasing much more.
