The Tide Will Take Us is a Canadian progressive deathcore band from Wasaga Beach and Collingwood in Ontario, formed in 2010.

"In 2010, Four friends, started a project that was untitled, until just before their first show. That project was titled "The Tide Will Take Us"

With the addition of a bassist, They set off to become a touring band, recorded an EP not to long after their first show, released it and played shows all over Ontario. TTWTU went into a professional studio to record with Jon Howard of Threat Signal and Bjorn "Speed" Strid of Soilwork, to record their sophmore release (full-length) Putrid Dynasty.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, 2 members left one night without telling the rest of the band, Apparently attributed to alcohol and overall "beingabitchness".

The band went on hiatus for half of 2012 and reformed with some fill-in members. They played a few more shows read more...
