Throes is a blackened death metal band from Bristol and Birmingham in England, formed in 2011.

"Throes is a two man outfit based in between Birmingham and Bristol.
After having originally formed as a full band in 2011, the group were placed in a difficult situation when D.G was arrested for involvement in the UK riots. After he was sentenced to a term of house arrest the decision was collectively made that the band would come to a halt.
However, in the summer of 2013 the initiative was taken by A.C to begin demoing new material at Darksound Studios (Ethereal / Sheol / Lluvia). These demos were exchanged via email and it quickly became apparent that the new music fit in perfectly with what had begun some years before and although it had been a long time in the coming; both members knew that this was the time to complete
