(216) is a side project of nu metal/alternative metal band Mushroomhead. They formed in 1997 in Cleveland, Ohio by Jason Popson, Jack Kilcoyne, Steve & Dave Felton. The band is named after the Cleveland phone number area code.
They've released one album in 1998, and is closer to Pantera-esque groove metal as opposed to the eclectic and atmospheric sound of Mushroomhead.
