A Band Called Pain is an alternative/heavy metal band formed by cousins Allen Richardson and Shaun Bivens in 2001. They are also the only metal band on the independent rap/hip-hop label Hieroglyphics Imperium Records. In 2008, drummer Tony Providence left the band and was replaced by Akili Peyton.
