Abstruse is an experimental / avant-garde black metal band from Athens, Greece. Abstruse’s first production was an unreleased demo from 2003, Neuronal Paths, and an unreleased single from 2005, Revelation.
In 2007 the band released their demo record, Transgression, re-released in 2012 with a bonus track for free download. Ivory Tower was released in 2010. In 2012, Abstruse released their full-length debut, Earthbound.
