ACID RAIN are an Argentinian progressive metal act formed in 2002 in Buenos Aires by bassist Ezequiel Giménez and guitarist Ariel Mascia. They were later joined by drummer Martín Magliano and keyboard player Andrés Blanco. ACID RAIN recorded the "One Night Of Reflections" and the "Shadows" demo with lead vocalist Fabián Gonzalez. In 2004 guitarist and founding member Ariel Mascia left ACID RAIN but the remaining members decided to carry on. With a new lead vocalist in Sebastián Fernández and a new guitarist in Mariano Revilla, the band decided to re-record "One Night Of Reflections" and release it as an EP. ACID RAIN released their debut full-length studio album "The Descending Line" in September 2009. Guitarist Mariano Revilla left ACID RAIN shortly after the recording of "The Descending Line" and was replaced by Fernando Culen.
