ACID RAIN are a progressive power metal band from Belgrade in Serbia. The band was formed in 2001 by Nikola (guitars) and Zarko (bass) Krstovic. Marko Jankovic (drums) joined the two brothers in what was initially a cover band. Marko was to be replaced by Andrej Mishkovic on drums and was joined by Marko Èapljic (vocals), Bojan Petrović (guitars) and Matija Andjelkovic (keyboards).
The four-track demo “Alpha” was released by the band in February 2005 on CD, receiving attention from public and media alike. As the band prepared to tour, three band members left with more personnel changes following, and the band disbanded. In the meantime, the “Alpha” demo was augmented with some additional tracks and became the album demo, “Game Of Life”, released in 2006.
In 2008 a new line-up of the band self-released the three track EP, “Worlds Apart”
