Acrassicauda are a thrash metal band originally hailing from Baghdad, Iraq. Founded in 2001, they performed concerts in their native land under the Saddam Hussein regime, and were featured in the 2007 documentary film "Heavy Metal in Baghdad". They relocated to the United States in 2009 after being granted refugee status. They released their first EP "Only the Dead See the End of the War" in 2010.
