Adrian Benavides is a music producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, California. As a native Texan, he spent the first several years of his career in Austin where he underwent formal training as an audio engineer, MIDI programmer, sound designer and remixer. While living in Austin, Benavides collaborated with the renowned progressive rock drummer Pat Mastelotto by editing and recording performances for Mastelotto's various projects and designing/organizing sounds for live MIDI rig. Aside from his work as a producer and mixing engineer, Benavides has performed on a few of Pat Mastelotto's remixes for Steven WILSON's "NSRGNTS RMXS" album.
His recent debut as a solo artist, the industrial progressive metal album, "Same Time Next Life", is a heartbreaking account of the loss of his daughter Valentina Grace who was stillborn in 2010.
