AETHERIUS is a progressive metal band from the United States formed after the new millenium. The lineup consists of RMB (vocals, guitars), STB (vocals, guitars, keyboards), DJG (bass), and GSM (vocals, drums). The members use their initials instead of their actual names which has created a sense of mystery around the band. When playing live, they tend to wear black clothing and aviator sunglasses which adds to this even more. Their style easily compares to any of the benchmark Prog-Metal bands of the 90s, but they add their own touch through incredible groove.
Their debut album "All That I Need to Survive" is primarily groove oriented, interweaving ballsy hard rock numbers with intensely epic pieces of greater length.
