AGAH BAHARI picture
AGAH BAHARI is an Iranian/Canadian composer, producer, sound designer and guitar player born in Tehran 1983. He began studying music at the age of seven, starting with the recorder and xylophone, and moving on to classic guitar, keyboard and electric guitar. His guitar playing was initially influenced by METALLICA, MEGADETH and PANTERA.

He started performing as a solo artist in 2002 and formed his own experimental trio, D.N.A. in 2003. Shortly after, he joined the Iranian band MEERA. In 2006 he started working on his first compositions, recording with members of PLANET X, Derek SHERINIAN, Virgil DONATI and Rufus PHILPOT. After being banned by the Iranian regime he re-located to Toronto, Canada. In 2008, Agah independently released his first solo album, 'The Second Sight of a Mind'. The Canadian prog label, Unicorn Digital, signed the artist and re-released the album in April 2009.
