AGNOSIA is a progressive metal band from Piraeus, Greece. They were formed in 2003 by Dionysis Sourelis (guitars) and Manos Xanthakis (vocals, guitars). With the addition of Christos Kyrkilis (Wastefall) on keyboards, Kostas Exarchakos (Crimson Fire) on drums and Vangelis Yalamas (Fragile Vastness) on bass and production, they released their debut 4 track demo, 'The Inner Conflict' in April 2004, which received positive reviews.
2005 saw various line-up changes and the band working for their debut release. The bass position was permanently filled with Julio Koutsogeorgiou (ex-Firestorm) and the band found a new home in the Noise Factory Studios; however the recordings of the new album did not start until 2007. The drums for the album were recorded by Akis Gavalas (Sound Of Silence), vocals were recorded by Chris Mastoras and keyboards written and performed by the Pantelis Kyramargios (both Melisses). The album was released through Steel Gallery Records in 2009
