Alien Ant Farm are an alternative rock/metal band formed in Riverside, California in 1995. Their first album "Greatest Hits" was released in 1999. Their 2001 follow-up "Anthology" launched the band briefly into the mainsteam with the popularity of songs "Movies" (originally on their debut) and their cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal".
