Named from a Wipers song, Germany's Alien Boys were one of the first european grunge bands. The group formed in 1987 in Hamburg and released their debut album "Lawmachine" in 1989. This got them the support slot for Soundgarden..s european tour plus their own first U.S. tour in 1990 and got signed to Philly based label Rave Records which püt out out their second effort "The Seeds Of Decay" one year later. This heavy growling doom/sludge/grunge onslaught was produced by Saint Vitus producer Stefan Gross and brought the boys back to the states for a 6 week tour in 1991. Also later that very same year they recorded their third album "Doom Picnic" with Grunge guru Jack Endino. After another Album "Nekropolis" another U.S. tour with Tacoma Grunge heroes Seaweed, and another european tour with Doom Legends Count Raven the band broke up by 1994.
