Alove For Enemies was a Christian metalcore / NYHC band from Long Island in New York.
Founded in 2001, ALFE has been going strong ever since, having released records on their own and constantly touring. In 2003, ALFE signed to Californian label Strikefirst Records, a ubsidiary of Facedown Records. They released "broken pledge" ep in Dec 2003 and toured endlessly to support it.
In March of 2004 ALFE signed with Facedown Records, and in March 2005, "the harvest" was released. The record was supported by a full US tour and by a European tour in the spring of 2005.
Plagued by a series of bad luck, and quite a few lineup changes, ALFE has persevered. Never giving up; motivated by their faith and by their love of hardcore, ALFE strives to be true to both. Playing heavy music because they love it, not to try to make money.
